The method

What we looked for, and what we did not find

This desk publishes its corrections, so it also publishes its searches. Every figure we cannot print is the end of a search somebody made, and a search nobody recorded cannot be checked. Below is the record: the question, each document we went to, the day we asked for it, and what happened when it opened.

15
documents asked for, one by one
10
publishers tried across the register
2
questions closed as nothing found

Register as it stood on 2026-09-17 · 29 subjects we have declared and not yet searched on the record · Every count on this page is re-derived from the records on each release, and the release is refused if the page and the register disagree.

A negative has to be earned

We do not write that something is unpublished until at least three documents from at least two different publishers have been tried and named. Fewer than that is a guess wearing the grammar of a finding. (3 / 2)

A negative also expires

Every conclusion of nothing found carries a day to look again. Documents get published after we stop looking, so a negative asserted for ever is a belief, not a result. When that day passes, the file reopens on its own.

Finding a document is not enough

An attempt may only be recorded as answering the question if it names the day the document itself carries and where inside it the answer sits. Without both, nobody else can go and read the same sentence.

Which published document prints site-level figures for Air Liquide in Isère: what the plant makes, and how many people run it?

air-liquide-isere · 4 attempts · 3 publishers tried

  1. Air Liquideno longer at that addressAsked on 2026-09-15

    Group publications index

The address the desk had been treating as the company’s document shelf answers 404, so the corporate route had no index to search.

  2. Air Liquideopened, and it does not print this figureAsked on 2026-09-15

    Bilan social 2025, L’Air Liquide S.A.

The report opens and reports 1,001 employees of L’Air Liquide S.A. at 31 December 2025, with no breakdown by site and no mention of Isère or Jarrie anywhere in it.

  3. Direction de l’information légale et administrativeserved as an empty shell without scriptingAsked on 2026-09-15

    Annuaire des entreprises, establishment 314 119 504 00137

The establishment page answers 200 with a shell under one kilobyte: the workforce band is assembled by script, so nothing on it can be read as a printed figure.

  4. DREAL Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, unité départementale de l’Isèreopened, and it prints the answerAsked on 2026-09-15

Rapport de l’inspection des installations classées, visite du 23/07/2025, référence 2025-Is131SPF

Edition 2025-07-25 · Read at section 1) Contexte, page 1

The regulator prints what the company does not: the Jarrie air separation site, in operation since 1979, at 130 tonnes of oxygen and 300 tonnes of nitrogen a day, staffed by between 4 and 5 people from 08:00 to 16:00 Monday to Friday, piloted remotely on call outside those hours.

Which dated document states where the École Schneider Electric trains its apprentices, and does any dated document place a new campus beside IntenCity?

schneider-electric-grenoble-power-electronics-software-careers · 3 attempts · 3 publishers tried

  1. Présences Grenobleopened, and it prints the answerAsked on 2026-09-17

    Un CFA d’entreprise : l’école Schneider Electric

Edition 2020-01-31 · Read at body, on the school created in 1929 and its 170 students

The article opens and states that the school, created by Merlin Gerin in 1929, trains 170 students on the IMT campus in Grenoble and became a company apprentice training centre at the September 2020 intake. It places the school on that campus and nowhere near IntenCity.

  2. Décideurs Magazineopened, and it prints the answerAsked on 2026-09-17

    F. Milioni (Schneider Electric) : « Notre école se met au service de la filière énergie »

Edition 2020-05-11 · Read at interview, on the opening of the training centre at the 2020 intake

The interview opens and dates the apprentice training centre to the September 2020 intake, in the training director’s own words. It names no campus beside IntenCity.

  3. Onisepopened, and it does not print this figureAsked on 2026-09-17

CFA École Schneider Electric, fiche établissement

The public register entry opens, names the school and its diplomas, and prints no campus address beside IntenCity and no publication date, so the proximity claim has no dated home here either.

Which dated edition prints the learning-investment return and the inbound-opportunity uplift this dossier once carried?

future-proof-5-year-skill-development-strategy · 4 attempts · 2 publishers tried

  1. McKinsey & Companydid not respondAsked on 2026-09-15

People & Organizational Performance, insights index

The insights index returned no response at all to our reader, so the practice’s own list of editions could not be opened.

  2. McKinsey & Companydid not respondAsked on 2026-09-15

Candidate article address for the learning-return figure

The one address the figure had ever been associated with also returned no response, and an unreachable address is not a citation.

  3. LinkedInopened, and it does not print this figureAsked on 2026-09-15

    Workplace Learning Report, resource page

The report page opens in full and prints figures on career development programmes and executive concern about skills, and nowhere prints the inbound-opportunity uplift.

  4. LinkedInopened, and it does not print this figureAsked on 2026-09-15

    Economic Graph research index

The research index opens and lists the company’s labour-market editions, none of which is the source of the uplift figure.

Both figures were attributed to publishers whose own indexes we opened, and neither index leads to an edition that prints them: one publisher’s pages did not respond to us at all, and the other’s pages print different figures. They stay withdrawn.

Does any OECD edition print an average time to competency in months, of the kind this dossier once attributed to one?

future-proof-5-year-skill-development-strategy · 4 attempts · 2 publishers tried

  1. OECDrefused to our reader (HTTP 403)Asked on 2026-09-15

Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies, programme page

The programme page refuses our reader with HTTP 403, so the survey’s own description could not be read at all.

  2. OECDno longer at that addressAsked on 2026-09-15

    PIAAC data explorer

The data explorer is no longer at that address, which is where a time-to-competency series would have had to be queried.

  3. OECDrefused to our reader (HTTP 403)Asked on 2026-09-15

OECD Skills Outlook 2023, publication page

The likeliest edition to carry such an average also refuses our reader with HTTP 403, so it is neither confirmed nor available to cite.

  4. Eurostatopened, and it does not print this figureAsked on 2026-09-14

    Adult learning statistics, Statistics Explained

The European series opens in full and measures participation in education and training over the previous twelve months, which is a rate of taking part and not a duration of becoming competent.

No document we can open prints an average time to competency in months, and the two OECD surfaces that might are refused to our reader, so the figures that once cited one stay withdrawn rather than being re-attributed to a document nobody here has read.
